Lisa Wale has been licensed at a REALTOR® since 1997 and earned a Broker's license in 2010. Since then she's had quite a lot of fun (really!) helping her clients buy or sell properties. In just over 20 years she's sold them all, from tiny cottages to luxury homes and everything in between. A chronic volunteer, Lisa soon became involved with the Niagara Association of REALTORS® serving on various committees, the Board of Directors and surprisingly (at least to her) serving as President in 2008. That not being quite enough, she also volunteered for several Ontario Real Estate Association committees and is the 2017 President of the Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation. Lisa is seldom without a book, mostly dull stuff like economic theory, biographies of historical and political figures, but likes a good satire and can recite from memory most of the better known Monty Python sketches. She gets her musical kicks from attending long, epic German operas, which may explain why she took up fencing a couple years ago and her favourite TV show is "Forged in Fire". If it involves a sword, she's into it! But that doesn't stop her from listening to Willie Nelson, INXS, the Jerry Cans and a whole lot of other stuff. She has a very varied playlist. On the home side, she's been married for a very long time to Doug whom she met at a Sheridan College Pub night. In spite of that, she did manage to graduate (Urban and Regional Planning Technician, class of '73). She has 3 sons, which she feels raising successfully has prepared for almost any challenge and is a Grandmother of 4 which is a lot more fun. Her family and close friends says she is quite a good cook and she's been known to cook anything that has "fur, feathers or fins" and make it taste pretty good. If she ever had to abandon her house quickly, taking only a few possessions, it would probably be the favourite pieces of cookware that would get rescued first. She makes epic butter tarts. Lisa has spent most of her Real Estate career at Coldwell Banker Momentum where she feels her fellow salespeople and staff have just the right amount of preofessional competence coupled with a fun, upbeat and positive atmosphere that helps get the job done.
